The 2024 Tokyo edition of the Sound of “Wa” Concert to Support Eastern Japan will be held on March 10 (Sunday) at Tokyo International Forum, Hall A (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).
Since immediately after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster, this concert has been held annually in the three prefectures in Tohoku (the north east of Japan) that were most affected by the disaster, and also in Tokyo. This concert will mark the 46th performance in total. Seiko has felt the power of music to light the flame of hope in people's hearts and spread the wa of reconstruction by creating concerts together with artists who share this philosophy, and also with people in the disaster-stricken areas. We will use the power of music nationwide to deliver hope to the people of Tohoku, and will keep moving forward, never forgetting that time or the sacrifices made by so many.
This year's theme is "Spreading Smiles," and we will bring wonderful voices to spread the spirit of wa that connect people's hearts.
