Seiko’s World Athletics Tour Spots
Seiko and World Athletics
Championships in Tokyo
-
1991
The first World Athletics Championships held in Asia.
Seiko introduced “slit video” and “ultrasonic anemometers” which was state-of-the-art at the time. We were proud to time the new world record of 9.86 sec in the 100m event. -
2025
The worldʼs top track and field athletes will gather in Tokyo once again to compete for the title of “best in the world”. And Seiko will be there to capture every exciting moment.
As always, we are working together with World Athletics to ensure that we not only capture, but also preserve the new records we hope to see set.
