    What is Toki-iku?

Seiko Group is committed to helping to educate the next generation about the need for a sustainable society.
We do this through activities that are unique to Seiko.
Consider the term Toki-iku, which combines the words for “time” and “nurture or educate.”
Seiko’s purpose is to help children learn the importance of Time and develop their ability to think independently,
so that they can create a future filled with smiles.
We support the development of their personalities and individual characters through interesting experiences
that allow children to explore and enjoy.

    Over 10,000 Participants So Far!
    Expanding to More Regions!

In total, 10,073 people have participated in Toki-iku! (As of 2024/10/10)
We will continue to expand the scale and reach of our events, spreading smiles to children around the world.

Let’s think about “Time” from the perspective of living creatures!

Why is biodiversity important? In Shizukuishi Town, Iwate Prefecture, where one of Grand Seiko’s craft studios is located, we think about this issue by getting close to the fauna in our forests. We believe it’s important not simply to learn about, but also to experience biodiversity in natural settings.
This is why the Studio supports a workshop in which children (and adults!) can make insect hotels. Our aim is to help people see what they can do to create rich and sustainable forests.
