What is Toki-iku?
Seiko Group is committed to helping to educate the next generation about the need for a sustainable society.
We do this through activities that are unique to Seiko.
Consider the term Toki-iku, which combines the words for “time” and “nurture or educate.”
Seiko’s purpose is to help children learn the importance of Time and develop their ability to think independently,
so that they can create a future filled with smiles.
We support the development of their personalities and individual characters through interesting experiences
that allow children to explore and enjoy.
Over 10,000 Participants So Far!
Expanding to More Regions!
In total, 10,073 people have participated in Toki-iku! (As of 2024/10/10)
We will continue to expand the scale and reach of our events, spreading smiles to children around the world.

What is “Time”? How would you answer this question?
We have created a video called “Learning About the History of Clocks and Innovations in Timekeeping, and Exploring the Future of Time” and posted it on the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) Website, in the STEAM Library, under the heading “Classroom of the Future.” Let’s open the door to exploring Time!

Professional artists will visit your school for special classes! They will teach children to truly enjoy music from the heart. In addition to the fun, they will also convey the professional attitude towards music and the importance of making a sincere effort to improve your skills.
For Ages 16-25
The instructors are talented young musicians who are active in the jazz scene in New York City! Over a five-day period they will teach aspiring musicians about jazz performance techniques, jazz theory, and new ways to enjoy the music.
Learning from the environment
Let’s think about “Time” from the perspective of living creatures!
Elementary School Students
Why is biodiversity important? In Shizukuishi Town, Iwate Prefecture, where one of Grand Seiko’s craft studios is located, we think about this issue by getting close to the fauna in our forests. We believe it’s important not simply to learn about, but also to experience biodiversity in natural settings.
This is why the Studio supports a workshop in which children (and adults!) can make insect hotels. Our aim is to help people see what they can do to create rich and sustainable forests.

Seiko is proud to be an official sponsor of the children’s job experience facilities known as KidZania Tokyo and KidZania Koshien. We have set up a City Clock Pavilion, where children can learn the meaning and importance of Time by working as a performer in a live program.
In addition to the permanent pavilion, we have held the Seiko Exciting Clock Workshop at KidZania Tokyo, Koshien, and Fukuoka.
