The Synchronizer: Persona
Optimizing Time for Everyone — A Considerate Taipa-Oriented Type
Approximately 10% of respondents fall into the Synchronizer type, characterized by a mindset that time should be aligned collectively. They view time not as something personal, but as something that is shared with others.
While often feeling pressed for time, they strive to manage it efficiently and are willing to spend money to save time, embodying a strong Taipa-oriented approach.
At the same time, they value time spent with others and wish to do more of that whenever possible. When differences in time sense arise, they actively adjust to align themselves with others, so as to optimize their shared time.
However, this consideration for others may come at a cost, as they often feel they lack sufficient time to be alone.
* Taipa (Time Performance): Defined in this survey as the effectiveness of time usage in daily life. It encompasses not only time-saving and efficiency, but also ways of spending time that respondents themselves perceive as enriching.
