Seiko Group Corporation
Seiko Group Corporation (Chairman, Group CEO and Group CCO: Shinji Hattori; Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; hereafter “Seiko”) will present a special display in the central show window of SEIKO HOUSE in Ginza from Tuesday, March 3 to Wednesday, March 11, in conjunction with the Wa de Kanaderu Tokyo Concert to Support East Japan (2026 edition). As part of efforts to pass on the memory of the Great East Japan Earthquake to future generations, the Bell of Hope for the Future will once again ring from the SEIKO HOUSE clock tower at 14:46 on Wednesday, March 11, exactly 15 years after the disaster. It will follow a chime that marks a moment of silence.
SEIKO HOUSE show window display, inspired by the Circles of Hope Concerts
In recognition of the 15th anniversary of the earthquake, the SEIKO HOUSE show window at the main Ginza intersection will feature 15 rings of various colors and sizes. Each ring bears the name of a venue where a commemorative concert was held, enabling visitors to look back on this 15-year journey. The display depicts how the circles of music and community solidarity will continue to ripple outward — from concert venues to cities and towns across the nation.

At the center of the window, a video introduces Seiko’s annual concert activities in Tokyo and in the three prefectures affected by the disaster. The video highlights the concert series — held 53 times from 2011 through last autumn — alongside comments from participating artists.
The video will also be screened at the Iwate Prefecture antenna shop “Iwate Galaxy Plaza” in Ginza, as well as on large digital screens at seven locations across Iwate Prefecture from early to mid-March.
The 54th Wa de Kanaderu Tokyo Concert to Support East Japan (2026 edition) will be held on Sunday, March 8 at Tokyo International Forum Hall A (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). For the latest updates, please see the websites below. (Tickets for this performance are sold out.)
To ensure that the disaster is never forgotten. The Bell of Hope for the Future will ring from the SEIKO HOUSE clock tower on March 11
As part of its efforts to keep the memory of the Great East Japan Earthquake alive, Seiko rings a bell for a moment of silence at 14:46 on March 11 each year. This year, the clock tower will sound 11 chimes over the course of one minute in remembrance of March 11, 2011. Following this moment of silence, two concluding chimes will ring out. Then the Bell of Hope for the Future composed by Shuta Hasunuma*1) will resonate from the tower.
- Shuta Hasunuma was born in Tokyo and is active across a wide range of musical projects, including concerts in Japan and abroad, scores for film, drama and stage productions, music production, and exhibition-based projects.
