Registration as a TNFD Adopter and Disclosure Based on TNFD Recommendations

Seiko Group Corporation (Chairman, Group CEO, and Group CCO: Shinji Hattori; Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) announced that it has endorsed the recommendations of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD*) and registered as a TNFD Adopter** in October 2025.
Starting in fiscal year 2025, the Company will begin disclosing information in line with the TNFD framework and will continue to enhance the scope and quality of its disclosures over time.
Recognizing that its business activities both depend on and impact ecosystem services, the Seiko Group has identified coexistence with Nnature as one of its material issues. In line with its biodiversity conservation policy, the Group is committed to advancing initiatives that contribute to achieving a Nature Positive*** outcome through its business operations.
Group companies promote biodiversity conservation activities tailored to their respective locations and surrounding environments. These include protecting endangered wildlife species, implementing greening initiatives, and hosting nature observation events as part of awareness-raising efforts, all as part of a under the broader approach ofto land use that respects biodiversity.
Going forward, Seiko Group Corp. will further expand disclosures aligned with TNFD recommendations and continue to promote biodiversity conservation through its business activities, contributing to the creation of a sustainable society that coexists harmoniously with the global environment.
