The 2023 Tokyo edition of the Sound of “Wa” Concert to Support Eastern Japan will be held at Bunkamura Orchard Hall (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) on March 10, 2023.
This will be the 42nd concert in the series, which has been held in Tokyo and the three disaster-stricken prefectures of Tohoku since immediately after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. Seiko has experienced the power of music to light a lamp of hope in people’s hearts and to expand the “Wa” (harmony) of reconstruction by creating concerts together with people in the affected areas. With our thoughts always on the Tohoku region, we want to bring the power of music to everyone in Japan. We will keep moving forward, never forgetting that time or the many sacrifices that were made.
This year, our theme is “Connecting with Smiles.” We will use beautiful voices to bring smiles to people’s faces and connect their hearts.
