Everyone at Seiko Group Corporation (Chairman & Group CEO, CCO: Shinji Hattori; head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan) would like to express their deepest sympathies to all those affected by the earthquake that struck the border areas of Turkey and Syria on February 6.
Seiko Group Corporation will donate a total of 10 million yen to Japanese Red Cross Society and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to be used for relief and reconstruction efforts in the affected areas.
In addition, each Seiko Group company will conduct an employee fundraising campaign, and SGC will match all these private donations.
We sincerely hope that our contributions will help the areas affected by this disaster to recover and rebuild as soon as possible.
