Seiko Endorses TCFD Recommendations on Climate-related Disclosure

Seiko Holdings Corporation (Chairman & Group CEO, CCO: Shinji Hattori; head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan), a core member of the Seiko Holdings Group, expressed its support for the recommendations made by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) on October 20, 2021.
The Seiko Holdings Group Purpose states: “As a company trusted by society, we will constantly pursue innovation, inspiring people everywhere, and creating a future full of smiles.” In keeping with that Purpose, the Group aims to help people around the world by addressing various social and environmental issues.
Based on the recommendations of the TCFD, the Group will strive to disclose information on the risks and opportunities that climate change presents to its business (including information on governance, strategy, risk management, and indicators and targets).
